The trading window always opens up right away for the person initiating the trade. The "Person X wants to trade with you" window shows up on the other end.

cough cough, that's not a gold sink either. its a transfer of gold between two players. a gold sink is something that takes the gold out of the economy such as the nine rings game or buying lockpicks for 1500 gold and getting an item out of it that is only worth 400 to the merchant (that takes 1100 out of the economy).

.............The Zaishen keys are not a gold sink in any way shape or form.
A gold sink in guild wars is a NPC that takes a players money for said item. once this is done that money is gone.
what the Zkeys are are players selling to players or a Bfaction for key or reward points for keys.

Okay, okay, I misused the term 'gold sink.' Seemed to make sense to me at the moment.
The thing is, I tried to set my mouse straight, thinking it was in a bad angle or anything, but I couldn't seem to fix it by adjusting my mouse's position in any way. My account seems okay and the epic 13k saving I have is still intact. If someone did actually get into my account, they'd probably left it there in pity.
I guess it really could be just my mouse freaking out. I suppose it'd be logically to let this thread die unless someone else experiences something similar to this and posts it here.

Ye, same here. And sometimes when I want to press a link ... the mouse suddenly moves to that cute little X in the upper right corner and closes my window.... has happened in GW as well, lol..
It was definitely your optical mouse.

Optical Mice don't work on black surfaces as well as on others. I had a mousemat with black stripes on it...if I left the mouse on a stripe by mistake, it would freak out and start whizzing all over the show.
Other than that, no idea ^^

Black mousemat, optical mouse, no problems. It only freaks on paper ^^
My touchpad on the other hand is a whole other story
Can the person who spoke about the Diablo stuff pm me the details about that hack? Just out of curiosity. Np if you don't feel like it though ^^

I like to call this problem a "mouse spaz"
Happens to me all the time, I usually have this happen to me once a week but my optical mouse is a little older so theres bound to be some problems. Its not a big deal in a game like GW unless you're in some really intense PvP. I remember back in my counter strike days the mouse spaz would always seem to happen at the worst times and suddenly I'm dead.
As others have stated above, its simply an optical mouse problem nothing to worry about. Clean off your mouse pad and maybe wipe off the area where the laser is on your mouse and you should be alrite.

For me it works quite well on paper.
I actually folded a piece of paper around my mouse mat in order to get rid of the weird mouse movements. It doesn't handle strong colour/tone differences well :P

Wait a sec I had the same thing happen 2 days ago in Temple selling Keys and just put it down to "I need to clean me mouse"
That trade never went ahead as I couldn't control the pointer the guy didn't say nothing either.
I still think it was just my mouse being weird as I have had a few trades after that no problem.
Wired optical mouse if that helps.

I'd like to point something out here:
an optical mouse that jump on you sometimes acts as follows: it just "jumps" to a different place on your screen, but YOU CAN STILL CONTROL IT! So if it jumps, you just move it back to where you need it, and that's all.
if your mouse movement was uncontrollable, i.e. even if yuo move the mouse, it moves in different ways, then imo, that's something completely different, and sounds fishy to me. If that was the case, you should report it to Anet.
Can you please be more specific on what your mouse did?

i have to agree with Sjeng, i went through ALOT of mice, and got rid of my last 10 because of this problem. i had to work alot in photoshop and a jumpy mouse is bad news when you have to separate pixels from each other...
the mouse would sometimes slide to 1 direction then jump and stop, or would jump to a random location. the most possessed mouse i ever had would slide to one side, then go up a few pixels and would continue its slide, until i would move it manually. as soon as i would move it it would jump and then behave normally again. that one was wireless and it was my last wireless mouse ever lol
my mouse pad has a black writing on it and it is not related to mouse misbehavoir since i have been using an optical mouse for a while now and it doesnt seem to have any problems with the black writing, it only goes crazy when i put it on my glass desk... lol
the only time i couldn't control the mouse when it would start jumping randomly all over my screen for a long period of time was when my father went into my PC from his and i forgot he needed to do it, so i was trying to fight with him over the mouse... then he came in my room and asked wtf..
to OP: do a virus scan and a spyware scan ASAP, it seems like the D2 hack or could be worse
[EDIT] you might wanna chec out this thread as well: http://www.guildwarsguru.org/forum/s...php?t=10288888
there are a big increase in hacked accounts recently.

Agree with Sjeng, if the mouse was jumping or moving slow in one direction then could be dust or something. If the mouse seem to take on a life of its own moving in multiply directions sounds like what I do when I take over people's computer at work, they hate it. I am kind of paranoid so I see shadows moving everywhere. Check to ensure you have remote assistant not check (turned off) unless you use it on a home network. If you use it one a home network ensure you are using strong passwords, firewall, etc...
Why buy Z-Keys there when GtoB has more of a market? If had only opened a trade window with him then it could be explained as AFK since I believe most power traders are afk (wife does it) and gw beep when someone pm's them.
Another reason is because they could be trying to identify who has Z-Keys.
Again I am just paranoid.

Well dunno about the Op but mine didn't "jump"
it sort of drifted all over the trade window and sometimes out of it
but moved back into trade window I just had no contol of it.
Guess I could report it as I always screen shot trades But still think it was a mouse problem as I haven't had any more problems.

Why do you screenshot trades? Do you think anet is going to do anything about you getting taken in a trade? If you get taken then its your own fault. You're the one who clicks accept to finialize the trade. If someone could control your mouse and click accept for you, do you think anet would believe you when you tell them "I didn't click it, he did".
You've got a problem with your mouse, everyone stop being so paranoid.
